Hello, this is Maya Ciubotaru, and I’m behind Plumline. As a creative and strategic thinker, I am focused on finding the core value of an organization and visually creating a distinctive brand identity.

Blending agency and corporate work with independent projects, I have experience in a variety of design disciplines, including graphic design, brand identity design, and UX&UI design.

I completed my bachelor's studies at the University of Arts and Design in Cluj, which led me to discover many design perspectives: graphic, product, and ambiental design. The hands-on approach and craft of product design, in particular, have greatly inspired me to embody the philosophy "form follows function" in each brand identity I have designed. My aim is to give shape to purposeful and inspiring brands that are aligned with their value by fusing a strategic approach with aesthetic sensibility.

My designs aim to be relevant and inspiring. Having a clear intent and knowing who it is addressed to is at the core of shaping an outstanding brand.

Essentialize

Good design expresses the core value of the organisation in a distinctive way. I leave out the extra if it's only distracting and focus on the essential, making it memorable.
