General Magic launched Safety Lens, the first Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) for iPhone, developed to improve safe driving by offering alerts to potential problems.
We were assigned to create photo-realistic images, animations showcasing the product and its features, and design the packaging and product sheet. All the marketing material was later used in a successful Kickstarter campaign which raised over 100 000 dollars.
Advanced Driver Assistance
One of the key features which makes Safety Lens stand apart from other car kits on the market is its built-in software.
ADAS modules had to be presented in a realistic scenario, explaining the functionality of the software. For this, individual animations were prepared for each module.
The new ADAS features required a UI update to the software. We designed the new assets and integrated them with the existing elements of the interface.
Packaging & Product Sheet
The black and purple color palette for the packaging is chosen to market a premium product. The double cover lays out all the Advanced Driver Assistance features without the need to open the packaging.
