ROUTE 66 Style Guide
Tempting Brands is the licensing company behind the iconic ROUTE 66 brand. In 2015 their vast artwork collection demanded a fresh style guide to be showcased in.
We designed a new layout for the style guide, reorganized and created new artworks, made product mock-ups with artwork usage examples, and designed a booth for the Brand Licensing Europe show.
The landscape format of the style guide is inspired by the Photography chapter which covers a large volume of artworks.
The page layout has a grid-based approach, enabling variation in scale and placement of the artworks, while maintaining consistency throughout the style guide.
The concept for the Phrases chapter was to have 5 structural variation for each phrase, this way customers have creative freedom in combining them with illustrations and in placing them on products.
The booth design had to reflect the new style guide. The combination of bold phrases with photography and flat colors resulted in a modern and exciting brand image.
